Overview
Senior Quality Engineer - Engineering Background Based in Glasgow a Senior Quality Engineer is required on an 18 month contract basis to work for a major defence client. This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment. Role responsibilities: To work within the Platform Quality Team to provide guidance with quality activity. Establish and maintain a quality management structure within the Platform organisation. Effectively influence all stakeholders including senior management. Skills and Experience required: Excellent Engineering background Support and provide in depth knowledge and experience of delivering quality improvement Detailed knowledge of quality tools and techniques and their application. Internal auditor qualified. Strong technical knowledge particularly within the area of quality assurance with programme application. Strong relationship and stakeholder management with both internal and external customers Experience of Shipbuilding desirable. Fully understand company vision, strategic aims & objectives. Experience of working within a complex design programme. Awareness of supply chain, project management and engineering relationships desirable.
