Senior Solution Architect – Security Up to £84,000 (dependent upon experience) West Midlands We are currently looking for a professional, motivated and heavy hitting Senior Solution Architect with a proven background within Security for a permanent opening based in the West Midlands This is a unique opportunity to work for one of the Top 50 companies in the UK, and they are an organisation that are currently undergoing a complex and large-scale Transformation Programme and subsequently are looking to significantly uplift their capability. As a Senior Solutions Architect you'll be the single accountable owner, aligned to an investment vehicle, leading full solution formation from top to bottom, end to end. The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for: Create materials, run workshops and presentations to ensure coherent deliverable solution are provided to delivery and other teams Define security architectures and solutions to match a range of exciting clients business requirements and risks Provided with the opportunity to be genuinely creative in providing clients with innovative security approaches and solutions Proactively bring clarity to any solution uncertainty and influence, lead towards business solution conclusions Coordinate & lead low-level designers or SMEs to ensure the solution is designed to appropriate levels of detail Ensure an appropriate level of governance is applied to technology solution choices Relentlessly applies society technology sets, avoids first of a kind and seeks reuse Provide leadership and direction to maintain solution integrity, make sure it works in line with requirements Own and drive design activities throughout the change processes, workshops towards deliverable solutions Coordinates and uses their network to pull together solution puzzle pieces into a coherent delivery business solution Support business case, project planning, delivery and requirements analysis (NFRs) with solution insights Manage the architecture, design and change log to evidence appropriate governance and traceability between initial requirements, design and final solution transitioned into service. Play an active and proactive role in moving forward the architecture team’s capability and maturity level Learn from and develop the skills of fellow architects Promote knowledge sharing and communicate the purpose of Enterprise Architecture Required Skills: Have relevant experience of leading several complex multi-million pound programmes from a technical and architectural perspective. Have architecture experience gained within a solution lead role for a significant amount of time Designing the end-to-end security architecture for a range of FTSE 100 clients Working alongside architects and developers to deliver leading edge solutions in cloud security, identity management, network and infrastructure protection, security monitoring, network segregation CISSP, TOGAF, SABSA, CISM, IISP/CCP is preferred. Track-record delivering security solutions for large-scale infrastructure or integration programmes. Have both a breadth of experience in a solution consultative role and depth in at least one domain Please note that whilst relevant qualifications valued; this role will require demonstrable previous experience.
