Overview

A new opportunity has arisen in our busy HR department for a HR Advisor. The sucessful candidate be required to: Provide robust advice & guidance to Managers in relation to issues including Disciplinary, Grievance, Flexible Working and changes to T&Cs, escalating any Complex matters to the Head of HR for support and guidance Be involved in Change Management processes throughout the business Manage the internal benefits programmes for employees Assist Managers in formal meetings Provide robust advice in relation to family friendly policies Support with the development and production of monthly KPI reports Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice, knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement. Update HR policy & Handbooks where required Work with line managers to ensure that HR policies are implemented fairly and consistently Assist in the design and delivery of development workshops in areas of HR best practice and employment law to enhance Manager's knowledge and skills within the Company. Assist in the management of the annual pay review system and contribute to the assessment of staff performance for annual pay review. Evaluate HR activities across the company and suggest improvement initiatives to ensure that departments are performing as efficiently as possible. Work on adhoc projects as and when required Essential: CIPD Part Qualified Good experience of working in a busy HR department in an advisory capacity Excellent knowledge of employment law Experience of delivering training Excellent organisational skills Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Excellent attention to detail Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint Excellent problem solving and decision making skills The ability to manage time efficiently Good customer service skills The ability to deal with pressure To be flexible to the needs of the business To be driven and have an enthusiastic approach to own and the teams work Leads by example and has an excellent work ethic To be friendly and approachable
