Process Maintenance Engineer – Plastics Reference: JO1520 Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm Fri 7am-3:30pm Salary: £34,500 Pen 25 Days Holiday Life Assurance Bonus Location: Manchester The Company An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading specialist plastics manufacturers, they have been established for over 60 years and specialise in the production of plastic products to a wide variety of industries using plastic injection moulding technology. Key Skills · Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering · Experience of Material Handling machinery · Understanding of PPM & PLC Systems The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The successful candidate will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, materials handling equipment, pneumatics systems, electrical control systems, conveyors. On a day to day basis you will work with other departments on continuous Improvement projects as well as traditional maintenance work.
