Overview
Our client is one of the most innovative and rapidly growing companies in Wales. They provide temporary and permanent water treatment plants across the UK and overseas - these enable water and effluent treatment solutions for industrial applications including food and drinks production, steel making, packaging, municipal wastewater, potable water and mine water discharges. They now provide both temporary and permanent wastewater treatment solutions to the majority of the UKs water utility companies. They have a requirement for a mechanically and electrically knowledgeable Field Engineer to work in an autonomous role from a home base in the Southern outskirts of the M25S (for example the Guildford, Redhill area). the main purpose of this role is to provide installation, commissioning, initial client liaison and reactive maintenance services for company wastewater and effluent treatment equipment in your region Duties of the role include: Carry out permanent installations on client sites. Carry out final fit-out and testing of new equipment, including (within limits of competence) electrical and mechanical. Provide Client personnel with relevant training and technical support for the works. Carry out pro-active and reactive service visits to company equipment on client sites as directed. Point of contact with site personnel for maintenance activities. Visit client sites to establish maintenance requirements and equipment schedules. Ensure testing and inspection certification is adequate for the installation and undertake remedial actions as appropriate. Qualifications and Skills Required: Holder of a Trade qualification - Electrical or Mechanical - with a solid understanding of the alternative discipline Previous Construction and Commercial site experience History with Water Treatment services Adaptable, flexible and proactive attitude Ability to remain calm under pressure Able to demonstrate initiative and professionalism when dealing with customers. A base salary of up to £35,000 plus a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided to the right candidate.
