Overview

THIS ROLE IS INSIDE IR35, THE RATES ADVERTISED ARE PAYE RATES. Are you an experienced Section Engineer looking for your next project? Do you have experience with either roads or earthworks? I'm looking for a Section Engineer to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor involved on a Smart Motorway Project in Slough. The project is still ramping up, so a great opportunity for long term work and also see the project all the way through. Duties: Your responsibilities will involve managing sub-contractors, looking after site engineers in your team, liaise with other teams on site, monitoring the construction of works and ensuring quality standards are met, undertake quality inspections. Experience having worked on highways previously would be a bonus but is not essential and candidates with experience of general civils schemes, earthworks, structures etc will be considered. Liaising with others to ensure safe systems of work are implemented in a safe manner, including for subcontractors.
