Senior Lecturer in Architecture 41,526, rising annually to 51,034 Full Time, Permanent - Academic The School of Architecture within the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment is currently recruiting for a Senior Lecturer in Architecture to join the team. This is a full time, permanent post. As Senior Lecturer in Architecture you will: * Undertake subject co-ordination and module leadership for the Master's in Architecture Programme * Teach students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, supervise students' projects and dissertations, mark and assess students' work and invigilate where necessary * As a module leader, you will ensure that the planned quality of the teaching and learning experience is fully achieved * Supervise students projects and dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate level * Advance pedagogic knowledge through research and implementation of experimental teaching strategies * Provide vision and direction for a guided evolution of emerging trends in experimental design approach, particularly in relation to fabrication and digital technologies. You should have: * First honours degree and a post-graduate degree in Architecture or a related discipline * Experience of Course & Module leadership at Master's Level * Experience of teaching architectural design at HE level * Substantive experience of Design Studio teaching * Experience of supervision of Master's and Undergraduate Design Research Dissertations As one of the largest employers in Oxford we pride ourselves in the great experience we offer our staff.
