Overview

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Identify, plan and implement the delivery of the AEB programme ensuring quality standards are maintained and Key Performance Indicators achieved. Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new Partners to maximise opportunities to achieve shared goals and objectives with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role is home based with travel to partners, training locations and Head Office as required. KEY EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the Contracts and Programme delivery to meet agreed targets Manage multifaceted and multisite Government / funded contracts and courses Develop a referral partner chain, working with Business Development Manage course diaries / schedules and tutors Work with Management Information and provide regular business reports Effectively manage and monitor impact and performance delivery to the outstanding standards required by System Group and the funding agencies and Ofsted underlined by clear and accurate reporting Responsibility for the performance management of AEB subcontracted provision. To include programme support and guidance, performance, financial and volume targets, quality and audit compliance Ensure that contracts and programmes are operated profitability and achieve volume and financial targets Provide strong leadership, support and guidance to ensure that staff are enthusiastic, have high expectations, and support learner progress in delivering their employment and vocational skills Identify emerging trends, developments and research that are relevant to the programme and ensure that delivery is at the cutting edge of best practice Develop strong working relationships with funding agencies and regional / national networks of organisations delivering AEB PERSON SPECIFICATION Education, Skills & Knowledge : Educated to degree level or equivalent Passionate about the opportunities afforded by the AEB to positively influence the lives of our learners Indepth knowledge and understanding of AEB and funding rules Ability to work to Ofsted requirements Confident and assertive with excellent leadership skills Ability to inspire, challenge and lead staff and learners Great team player and able to work on own initiative as required Able to relate to, and develop relationship with staff and learners Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a rewarding environment Solutions focussed approach to problem solving Effective and efficient communication skills Proven Management skills Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively Commercial Awareness Good IT skills and knowledge of databases Financial acumen
