Overview
A brand new role for this company, they are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Maintenance Manager working in their Research and Development department managing a team of 3 Technicians ensuring new test rigs are built, all existing test rigs are working and testing activities are completed. Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Maintenance Manager Co-ordinating and assigning resource Scheduling, PPM, and unplanned maintenance activities Design and hands-on build and supervision of new complex electro-mechanical test rigs Integration of mechanical and electrical systems with a focus on safety Leading a team of 3 technicians to test the products but also completing planned and unplanned maintenance to keep the test rigs running Hands-on build, test and commission (10-20% of the time depending on breakdowns etc) Essential Requirements of the Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Maintenance Manager Strong knowledge and experience with the assembly and commissioning of complex electro-mechanical systems/equipment An appreciation of PLC controls and their integration into mechanical systems although training will be provided Good knowledge of mechanical systems and the interpretation of mechanical drawings Educated to HNC/HND or higher in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering Nice to Have Requirements of the Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Maintenance Manager Experienced designing and building test rigs Controls engineering background - Siemens PLC integrated with WinCC would be ideal HNC/HND or higher in mechatronics Previous experience leading a team If you feel you are suitable and interested in this role, APPLY NOW with an up to date CV.
