Job Title Legal Cashier Location Birmingham Salary £12 P/H DOE Are you an experienced Legal Cashier based in Birmingham, or within commutable distance of Birmingham? Are you available immediately, and looking for a full time, temporary opportunity with a well-established organisation based in the heart of Birmingham? If so, Optima might have the perfect opportunity for you. The Role Our client, a well-established organisation based in the heart of Birmingham, is looking for a Legal Cashier to join their existing team. You will be part of a professional finance team, and be responsible for the following: Bank reconciliations Month end procedures VAT returns Managing petty cash Office and client account transfers CHAPS and BACs payments Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules Processing numerous financial transactions Other duties as required The Candidate A legal cashier with a minimum of one years' experience gained within a similar position Knowledge and experience of the Solicitors Accounts Rules will be essential Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication skills Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail Working well under pressure to meet tight deadlines The Package Salary: £12 per hour (DOE) Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5PM
