Overview
Top 55 law firm has an exciting new opportunity for a Legal Director to join their highly regarded Family Department. Based in Birmingham, you will be involved in all areas of family law, servicing clients with domestic and international needs. Day to day responsibilities will include: Managing a wide caseload of high net worth family work including Divorce, Financial Applications for cohabitees, spouses and civil partners, Children Act Applications including Schedule 1 and Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements Working with and developing marketing strategies to attract new clients and developing relationships with current clients Assisting and supervising more junior fee earners, delegating work to paralegals and supporting team members on large complex matters Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years' experience in family law, with particular exposure to Children Act Applications and experience of dealing with a broad range of clients. Your drafting skills will include Court applications, preliminary documents, detailed letters of advice to clients and statements and briefs to Counsel. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to provide a quality service to clients, with exposure to high-quality work and work as part of a supportive team.
