1st Line Service Desk Engineer / Southampton / £16,000 - £22,000 My client are a fast growing Managed Service Provider offering a range of managed IT services for businesses. Their head office is based in Southampton whilst their customers and clients are dotted across the UK. Due to real growth they are now looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Individual to join their team of 1st Liners. You will be responsible for providing customers with responses and first time fixes on any incident tickets raised and be focused on resolving request tickets within the resolve SLA. ABOUT YOU Ambitious. Driven. Curious. You will have: Work experience in a 1st Line technical role for a Managed Service Provider. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills. Extensive experience supporting and administrating M365 / O365 related. Advanced problem-solving ability and troubleshooting. Nice to have: ITIL Foundation certified Understanding of Microsoft Azure VMware and Hyper-V ABOUT THE JOB Responsibilities include Providing 1st Line Support through taking calls and handling the resulting incidents or Service Requests. Excellent customer service providing proactive, reactive and service management. Proactively assisting with recommendations and delivery of new managed services to customers. Engaging with the sales teams to assist, promote and identify correct solutions for customers where necessary to increase customer satisfaction.
