A temporary opportunity as arisen in our South London office for a Full Time Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Manager. The role is for 37 ½ hours per week and the successful applicant would be required to start this role by 6th April, 2020 for a period of six months. There is the possibility that this role may become permanent The Role: With a good understanding and background in accounts, good numeracy skills and a current ability to demonstrate the use of Sage 50 the successful applicant would be required to:- Carry out all aspect of the Purchase Ledger Processing duties to include, inputting invoices, checking supplier statements, coding invoices, addressing any queries and making payment. Carry out all aspects of Sales Ledger processing to include importing and issuing invoices, process customer payments and carry out credit control duties To Assist the Accounts Manager with Bank Reconciliation. To deputise in the Accounts Manager’s absence with Payroll Processing Some Account Reporting and other ad hoc duties as required. Essential Skills Required: At least 3 years’ experience of working in an Accounting Role 12 months current experience of using Sage 50 Ability to work alone Time management and the ability to plan your workload and meet deadlines. Good Excel and Microsoft Office Skills Attention to details Other Information: The hours are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday ( 1 hour lunch ) The Salary is £23,500.00 Holiday is 20 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata) Free parking Contributory Pension
