Overview

Recently I visited a client that currently occupy a beautiful building from the 20th century in the Borough of Harrow. They are a Top 60 accountancy practice which has been established for over 50 years and that has built long term and fruitful relationships with the clients. They provide a full service for their portfolio of over 1500 clients coming from various industries and turnovers of up to £100 million. What impressed me was the aesthetics of the office and staff, interior design as well as very personal and friendly approach of the Partner. Not only did he find a great opportunity to work closely with his clients and help their businesses with their growth, but also, he has created a long term vision for the company that is motivated to take on new people and help them grow within the team. Currently he is looking for 2 Semi Senior’s who are driven and ambitions and who want to join the practice on the journey towards the growth and expansion. Every successful person has had a great mentor and he is looking for the attentive student, who will be excited to join the practice, take on responsibilities and work as a team, building the firm’s future. About your role as a Semi Senior Accountant: Role split: 50% Accounts Preparation and 50% Audit Statutory Accounts for the companies of average turnovers of £500k -£4/10 million Calculating CT600 Direct contact with the clients, visiting clients on their premises Assisting on planning and execution of audits - clients with turnovers of up to £100 million Benefits of the role as a Semi Senior Accountant: 23 days of holidays plus bank holidays ACCA/ACA study support Staff Events i.e.: Christmas party, Year End celebration in October Career progression and mentorship Requirements of the role as a Semi Senior Accountant: Driving licence Minimum 1 year of accountancy practice experience You are driven and ambitious and have a desire for career progression Top 60 - Semi Senior Accountant (Audit and Accounts) £28,000 - £36,000 per annum Harrow, London
