The Day Job Sopra Steria is looking for a Senior Consultant to lead and drive a variety of cyber security engagements for our Clients. This is an opportunity to work at the front line of cyber security delivering value to our client base. As a member of our security team, you will work in our advisory practice helping our Clients understand their security challenges and then specify, plan and execute projects to improve their security posture. These engagements will encompass the full end to end cycle, from initial client engagement, through assessments and road-mapping, to longer term engagement in an advisory capacity. Working for Sopra Steria you’ll be dealing with end-to-end security, with a varied portfolio that aims to provide and deliver a holistic approach for Security Services. This promises a fast-paced environment with innovative thinking right at its heart, with a broad range of industries and challenges on offer. Candidates will be able to apply a consulting approach to clients concerns and issues and will use knowledge gained from previous roles, experiences and engagements, knowledge of the market/industry, and own research to address clients’ security challenges. Essential Skills Client facing consulting experience in a recognised consulting business. Delivering value to businesses through cyber security transformation initiatives. Experience in consultancy engagements focused around the security industry, such as risk assessments, compliance audits and strategy advisory. Demonstrable expertise in client industry (E.g. public sector, financial services, energy and utilities) with focus on industry specific best practice, threats and regulations. Proven track record of successfully leading large client engagements. Very strong written, oral and presentation skills. Cyber/information security qualification (CISSP, CISM, CCSP or Equivalent). Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise: Strong understanding and experience applying of one or more security industry frameworks (E.g. ISO27001, NIST); Strong understanding and experience of risk management frameworks (E.g. ISO 27005) Understanding and experience working with security legislation and regulatory frameworks (E.g.
