Staff Nurse - Hospice ,Band 5 and above
Overview
We are currently looking for a dynamic and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join a designated nursing team within a Priavte Hospice and ensure the provision of high-quality nursing care. Based in London with excellent transport links, over ground train and tube. Patients are admitted to the Specialist Palliative care In-Patient Unit for assessment, symptom control, terminal care, rehabilitation, respite care and medical interventions from a wide catchment area of CCG’s primary care trusts of London. Due to the nature of this role is would ideally suit an experienced Palliative Care Nurse from either a Hospital or Hospice Background. A Full Job Spec can be sent upon application You will be : A Registered Nurse at Band 5 or above in specialist palliative care or oncology Current NMC registration in adult or general nursing Demonstrable practice that is evidence based and up to date Experience of supporting junior / less experienced staff to improve standards of patient care. Able to use assertive communication skills to achieve collaborative solutions to challenging situations Able to conduct audits in objective and efficient manner.
