We have an opportunity available for a Senior Mental Health Recovery Worker to join us across two units in Moseley and Kings Heath, Birmingham . You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and receive a competitive rate of £9.35 per hour , plus other benefits. Servol Community Services is a charity providing care and support to adults affected by and recovering from mental health issues. You may not have heard of Servol Community Services, but we have been established for over 40 years. Support is provided to people in accommodation that meets their needs, including residential 24 hour staffed services and semi supported accommodation. We now seek a Senior Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our growing team. What will you be responsible for as our Senior Mental Health Recovery Worker? You will: - Be a key stakeholder in the development of person-centred planning, ensuring individual plans contain meaningful and achievable goals - Lead shifts in the absence of a Deputy Manager, including supervision of staff - Work with colleagues to provide the best quality of care to service users, upholding dignity and ensuring that the support provided is safe, effective and caring - Produce accurate and relevant reports for internal and external use - Support service users and colleagues with a range of administration, form filling and making benefit claims as necessary - Where required, prompt or administer medication to agreed standards and in line with policy and procedure - Ensure risk assessments are regularly carried out and actioned as necessary, in line with policies and procedures - Undertake a range of audits within the services as required to maintain compliance and safety - Be flexible and responsive at all times to meet the changing needs of the service and the service users This is not an exhaustive list of your duties.
