Overview
Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing have a unique opportunity for a Technical Product Engineer to join an established, well-known business based in Leeds. Renowned for their research into new technologies, our client is looking for an ambitious Technical Product Engineer to play an integral role across the business. Reporting to the Product Management Director, you will be accountable for global new product development. As a Technical Product Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Global new product development; software, hardware and firmware - Being a category expert; mapping the competitive landscape - Category insight; trends and innovations, customer and end-user wants and needs - Being the key contact for technical products - On-time delivery of all new product development, driving the end-to-end process across the business - Working across the business to create best-in-class product launches - Driving and reporting on sales - Identifying, researching, developing and launching new products - Understanding buying patterns As a Technical Product Manager, you will have: - A degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent - 5 years industry experience with technical product development - Proven track record in the delivery of new products - Knowledge of suppliers based overseas - Excellent communication skills This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Product Manager to join a well-know, established business where you can grow and develop.
