Technical Conveyancer - Non Fee Earning
Overview
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced conveyancer or residential property solicitor looking to move away from fee earning has become available in central Leeds. You will be looking for a non-client facing role and have strong Sales and Purchase experience. The successful technical conveyancer will have responsibility for providing technical support to a Conveyancing team managing caseloads of purchase cases where they act solely for lenders on separate representation basis. Duties will include: Title checking, raising inquiries and identifying any necessary issues to report to our lender clients, checking replies to inquiries and liaising with borrower’s solicitors to resolve outstanding issues in a timely fashion, interpreting mortgage offers, assisting with technically complex matters and more. The successful technical conveyancer will have previous residential conveyancing experience (minimum of 3 years), and have the ability to title check standard freehold, leasehold and new build matters. You will have previous experience in dealing with unregistered and lease extension matters.
