Overview
Electrical Shift Engineer - 41k - Enfield I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer on a brand new contract based in Enfield North London. This role has come live as a result of the continued growth of a Leading Service Provider. This company are specialist in the servicing and maintenance of Critical sites and continue to strive for excellence. The Role: We are recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to work for one of the UK's largest critical maintenance contractors, these positions are based on a Critical Data Centre Environment and will require the succesful applicant to deal with a high level of technology and plant such as ; BMS, UPS, Chillers, Downflow Units, Battery Banks, AHU, FCU - all of which is brand new. The Package will include a starting salary of £41,000 per annum plus great overtime rates, shift cover opportunities, pension and other benefits and lots of training such as ILM and HV AP. Successful candidates will be required to complete scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance tasks in maintaining site assets ensuring equipment availability, to perform higher level technical fault finding and repairs. They will be responsible for performing operational checks and first line repairs of building technology systems. Identify then estimate repair or project works conforming to best practice and regulations, plus complete repair/project works when delegated. Those selected should have experience with mechanical and electrical services, fault finding and repairs to standard installations in corporate offices up to large commercial and critical buildings. This role is based on a continental shift pattern which includes both day and night shifts. The shift pattern is based around a 12 hour shift This site is a critical environment so experience within similar buildings or technology will be preferred. Training and development will be given to develop further skills and to fast-track through internal promotions going forward. The Individual: The following are guidelines of what my client is looking for in both technical qualifications, but also areas of experience; City & Guilds 2330 Electrical Installation Level 2 City & Guilds 17th Edition AM1 & AM2 is a bonus Exposure to HV or HV Switching is desired Mechanical Qualifications are desired but an understating of mechanical plant is essential For any further information please contact Josh at the Invictus Group.
