The company employs 400 staff. About the role: A demanding office-based, Payroll and HR support role for someone with flexibility, energy and attention to detail. The role requires a disciplined individual able to manage time effectively. There is also opportunity to grow within the business, for ambitious candidates wanting career progression. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head of People and Assistant Payroll Manager Process part of the company’s payroll HR administration Company Administration for teams including HR, Payroll and Finance Cover other HR, Payroll & Finance members when on holiday Payroll: - Preparing the cleaner fortnightly payroll - Checking for changes to normal schedules with Operations dept. - Managing permanent contract schedules and any changes to them - Arranging and sending payslips to staff - Dealing with wage queries HR Administration: - Updating and maintaining HR records on our HRM system - Placing job vacancies / administrating applications / reference requests - Starters and leavers administration - New employee inductions - Existing staff enquiries such as complaints, change of details etc. General Administration: - Sharing of answering the phones - Cleanology emails - website enquiries, job applications, random - Data update - staff, client files computer spreadsheets - Filling & organising existing files, creating new files - General laminating, shredding, filling - Special projects, as required and directed by the MD. - Cover other team members when on holiday Other: - Comply with and uphold the values of the Company’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems. The Person - our minimum skill requirements: Highly proactive, flexible, enthusiastic and pragmatic delivery orientated approach with 'can do’ attitude Excellent planning, organizational and prioritisation skills Able to work autonomously, and comfortable with rapid change, as well as working as part of a wider team Excellent telephone manner IT literate (MAC and PC) - good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer Previous office experience desirable but not essential Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese desirable but not essential Competent levels of planning and organization Numeracy and literacy to a good level Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise Good interpersonal skills High levels of attention to detail A strong work ethic
