Overview
An opportunity to work closely with senior management to develop and implement the marketing strategy for a b2b organisation with really appealing growth plans. The role This role is a new position and will be the sole marketing position within this mid-sized, well-established b2b organisation. They have already achieved impressive growth over the last 10 years, but are looking to increase this following a period of change and the instigation of a robust 3-year strategy. Because there isn't anyone in the role at the moment, it is likely the role will evolve, however they've hit on the most important aspects for the business in the short term which is where the position will focus initially. You'll deliver both physical and digital marketing campaigns and be responsible for developing the ideas as well as the implementation, this will definitely include email marketing and direct mail. Additionally, you'll be responsible for generating of and offline content, as well as focussing on PR and social media. They're keen to exploit their position as market leaders so will look promote case studies and thought-leadership as well as good news stories across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. You'll work with an external agency developing the PPC and SEO strategy as well as organising events and networking opportunities as well as developing internal newsletters. What we're looking for We're looking for candidates with at least a couple of years' experience gained from a b2b marketing environment, who is keen to be a sole marketer, but with the possibility of growing the team in the future. You will be a strong copywriter and understand tone of voice and sector relevance. You must have worked in a role which incorporates both print and digital marketing and be familiar with social media from a business perspective. What's on offer?
