Shifts & Pay rate 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 15:00 pm till 24:00 pm Pay rate: £10.50-£13.50 Saturday overtime: Time and a half Permanent 23 Days holidays plus bank holidays MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB To ensure that all aspects of daily production are being run to their optimum capacities. Work to job priorities as assigned by the laser foreman. Ensure that nests are correctly processed and all materials listed are used. Make sure that work is on schedule give feedback and plan any works for the current and next day with the laser foreman. Have a clear understanding of all issues like safety and company rules so that proper procedures are followed at all times. Manage situations and resolve issues efficiently. Responsible For: Ensuring that all work issued is completed to a high standard. Responsible for maintaining quality checks in accordance with CE Procedures. All paperwork must be signed and complete as per issued Protocols. Ensure that all maintenance and cleaning of the machines is carried out in accordance with schedules. Ensure that all scrap is Processed and that all working areas are clean and safe at all times. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Operations Oversee the daily laser operations and report to laser working foreman Be responsible for the completion of daily work given. ensure maximum productivity is achieved Ensure that all produced parts are to a high standard every time by using staff, equipment and processes that are at your disposal. Achieve this via daily pre production and delivery meetings with the laser foreman. Inspect material and end products to ensure that all quality expectations are being met. Responsible for following the implemented company quality policy and objectives procedures. Perform in-process and final inspections as per CE procedures. Follow all CE procedures and work instructions and support your team to work within these procedures. Customer Service Team working and Staffing Contribute towards setting and delivering team goals Build good working relationships within the team to ensure all staff feel valued, engaged and motivated in their work Responsible for ensuring time keeping standards are maintained Regularly communicate with operational staff within your team including holding regular team meetings Health & Safety Responsible for safety awareness in all jobs to help eliminate injuries with the department Constantly check for safety hazards and ensure problems are rectified promptly Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Follow all safety requirements Actively participate in safety improvement activities Report any unsafe practices by co-workers Immediately report all injuries and other safety incidents General Responsibilities The above is an outline of the duties you are expected to perform in your role; it is not an exhaustive list.
