Overview
Structural Engineer Nottingham £25,000-£40,000 (experience dependent) Ref AB290 My client is a leading civil and structural engineering consultancy who have an opening for a Structural Engineer with over two years' experience to join their busy team in Nottingham. Ideally, you will have experience working on a range of building structures projects. About the company We are working with an excellent consulting who are both well-established and market leading. The team have delivered a range of successful projects throughout a variety of sectors, including residential housing, commercial & industrial, retail and leisure and public sectors. In order to be considered for this role as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will; Have a degree in civil or structural engineering Have an innate understanding of structural engineering Show excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate experience of coaching and briefing CAD technicians and less experienced engineers Have self-motivation and be capable of supporting/working with an existing team What will be expected of the successful Structural Engineer? You will input into fee proposals, including recourses and programme You will develop schemes designs as required by more senior engineer You will deliver projects within timescale, budget constraints and quality expectations As the team develops, you will mentor junior engineers, graduates and technicians You will begin to actively develop the Structures Division with a view to expand the client base Benefits for this role include a full benefits package and a competitive market salary.
