Overview

Are you an experienced Project Manager with exposure to manufacturing, production or a construction industry? We have a client, a recognised supplier in their field, based near Colchester, who would like for you to apply You will be responsible for projects worth from £10k up to £1.3mil, this means that you will have a hands on approach to ensure that everything required is planned, organised and executed in a safe manner against timescales. Apply now… Duties… Understand and be responsible for all project deliverables, customer and supply chain contacts, scope of works and schedules Prepare detailed 'Project Programmes' Monitor progress and take any necessary remedial action to ensure works are completed within the agreed contract period Working with Design Office, Bid Team and Customer to negotiate any solutions and monitor works to provide 'parts list' for procuring and expediting Producing a detailed Method Statement and Risk Assessment for each project Manage subcontract procurement with the Administration Department Any many more duties discussed on application Skills required… Previous experience in a similar role Industry exposure to manufacturing, production or construction Working knowledge of Solidworks & CAD Proven knowledge of health and safety on site (SSSTS or SMSTS) Project management certificate or equivalent in Prince 2 Practitioner or APMP Additional Details… Up to £38,000PA 25 days holiday bank Christmas shutdown Travel to nationwide and occasional international locations Excellent working hours Keywords; project manager, project management, site manager, project coordinator, project coordination, projects, project Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
