Overview

Role: Senior / Principal Structural Engineer Location: Glasgow Salary: £40k - £60k Additional Benefits Package Medium sized, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy located in central Glasgow are looking to appoint a Structural Engineer with experience in Structural Engineering design of building structures who has the ability to produce engineering design independently and has the aspirations to become a well established Associate within the business over the coming years. This consultancy have 12 offices up and down the UK with a well established presence following them. This consultancy provides design across Structural, Civil, Environmental, Geo technical consultancy both pre and post planning of Residential, Commercial, Health, Educational and large Sporting Stadia developments. Typical services provided from this family owned consultancy are, infrastructure and pre-acquisition engineering assessments, highways, drainage, structural and civil design, statutory utilities negotiations, flood risk and transport assessments. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil / Structural Engineering and have designed structures to BS / EU codes. In return you will be offered the opportunity to work on a variety of Building Structures and be allowed to develop through the business. Essential and desired experience: Aspire to become Chartered or Incorporated Engineer Be keen to develop into a team leading engineer and have the autonomy to run singular projects. Experience in the design and construction of building structures (ideally high rise/industrial/residential/educational or commercial structures) A sound understanding of building process, procurement, design management and stakeholder interaction thought the design and construction process. Be an ambassador for the business both internally and externally You will be involved in a variety of building structures schemes both in the North West and around the UK up to £50m and be a vital part of shaping the future of the business.
