Overview
Job Title: Kern & Swing Arm Enclosing Machine Operator Location: North London Salary: £24 000 per annum Hours of Work: Full-Time plus over time available (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, some Saturdays required) Machines : Kern 3500 / Bell Howell swing arm Our client is currently recruiting for a Kern & Swing Arm Enclosing Machine Operator to join their team in London to produce output of the quality required by the company using appropriate machinery, plant and equipment. Key Duties: Operate machinery to produce products of the required quality. Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required and notifying your line manager of any persistent issues. Ensure the loader(s) working on the machine are organised efficiently and maintain the required standards. Receive and store raw materials required for the production process. Monitor the use of stock and materials on or around the machine to ensure that the new supplies are replenished in good time. Follow all administrative procedures as directed, including updating machine diary, client overs forms, Royal Mail requirements at the end of a postal fill and any other records which are required. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and ensure that all environmental and health and safety regulations are complied with. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment and ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with safety regulations and company rules. To carry out any other duties as requested to do so, from time to time, in line with the needs of the business. Key Skills: An ability to operate and maintain relevant machinery and to comply with health and safety regulations. An ability to work as part of a team. Have good attention to detail especially in regard to numbering and matching. Ability and willingness to work outside core hours as per the needs of the business.
