This is an ideal opportunity for any Senior Bookkeepers in the Epsom area who are looking to work at a reputable Firm of Chartered Accountants who can offer excellent options for flexible working. Client Details This very successful and reputable firm of accountants, based in the Epsom area is undergoing continued positive growth and has benefited from building strong long term valued relationships with its wide ranging client bases, across varying industries and size of client. The firm offers a very supportive and team focused environment, reflected by a low staff turnover and long serving staff. Full time as well as part time working arrangements can be explored with the right candidate. Description Joining the firm as a Senior Bookkeeper based from their Epsom offices you will carve a key, hands on role here working with a wide spectrum of sole trader, partnerships and limited company clients across varying industries and turnovers undertaking the following responsibilities: Book keeping, VAT returns and Management Account service provision. Account reconciliations. Purchase and Sales Ledger Processes. Year End adjustments up to Trial Balance stage. Opening balance adjustment. Journals. Converting new clients from existing systems. Working on XERO cloud accounting software and other systems. Profile You may be AAT studying, or hold an AAT qualification but if supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong, relevant, experienced background only, is equally of interest, as well. You will have anything from 3 years, or significantly more experience within accountancy practice or industry with demonstrable experience of delivering bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts services. Or you could be a self-employed senior bookkeeper seeking the stability of a permanent employed position. The team advises on Xero and Cloud accounting software and therefore any experience and Xero knowledge will be beneficial. Full time as well as part time working arrangements can be explored with the right candidate. Job Offer Salary circa £25,000 - £30,000 FTE depending on experience and qualification status.
