Overview
Job Description
Team Management Manage, engage, coach and develop a high performing HR team, utilising the Performance Review (PReview) process as well as the key values and behaviours associated with the Toyota Way of Working. Employee Resourcing Manage talent acquisition processes to guarantee we recruit high calibre customer focused individuals and ensure all internal authorisation procedures are followed Interview support for permanent and temporary staff as required Ensure the most cost-effective channels are implemented and negotiate terms of business with preferred suppliers, as required Manage the leavers process ensuring we obtain valuable feedback Employee Relations Support and manage the team so they work pro-actively with staff and managers to resolve employee relations concerns as soon as possible, thereby ensuring a positive employer-employee relationship Ensure advice given is in line with company policy, current employment legislation and a consistent approach is adopted, consulting with the Head of People and Culture when appropriate Make sure that policies and procedures are relevant, in line with current legislation and are effectively meeting the needs of the business Lead, manage and facilitate performance improvement, disciplinary and grievance matters as required Absence management including the identification or trends and themes, raising concerns to management and the Head of People and Culture as appropriate Liaise with external employment law experts to seek advice and guidance as required Manage the maternity process, ensuring that maternity briefings with managers and staff are held as required Maintain employment legislation knowledge and share with the team to ensure continuous improvement in the services provided Manage and implement employee feedback initiatives to support an engaged culture and an environment where people love to work Employee Pay and Reward Manage the annual salary review and bonus payments processes, utilising external benchmarking services as required Work with Finance and/or Payroll providers to ensure all payroll instructions are passed to them within pre-defined deadlines Maintain and manage the relationship with all outsourced benefit providers General Management Actively participate in determining short, medium and long-term strategies for TFSUK, Kinto UK and Faxi to support the achievement of each company's Mid Term Business Plan Ensure all HR paperwork and HR database (CIPHR) updates are completed in a timely and accurate manner and comply with legal and data protection policies Ensure suitable HR resources across are made available across TFSUK/Kinto UK/Faxi, and continuously look for new ways to achieve maximum HR efficiency and make recommendations accordingly Complete various ad-hoc projects as requested by the Head of People and Culture Requirements CIPD or equivalent experience Knowledge of current UK employment legislation Working within a high-volume HR Department, in a generalist role Proven track record of forming strong partnerships with business managers Experience of dealing with disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues Interviewing for all levels of staff Previous experience of working within a corporate environment Strong line management skills Benefits Competitive Salary Pension scheme - matrix of options up to a maximum of 15% company contribution Bonus of up to 15% of salary per annum based on company performance (pro rate depending on start/leave date) Car allowance of 5,500 per annum Life assurance of 10 x salary PMI cover via Bupa - single, partner/spouse and dependent children Income Protection Scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Employee Car Scheme Flexi Working Hours Scheme Employee Assistance Programme On site cafe, restaurant and gym, Reward Gateway (voucher discount site), sports and social club On-site parking
