Overview

Are you a logical thinker, who is good with numbers, has excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot trends in data to provide actionable insights? Do you have a keen interest in media and communication with some previous experience in a Media, Advertising or Marketing sector? Are you proficient in the use of MS Excel and PowerPoint to manipulate, analyse, interpret and present insightful data for clients? If the answer is yes, then this may be the role for you. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Insights & Planning Team (Door Drop Media) in Marlow. Delivering cross functional support to the Planning and Insight team across a broad client base. You will be involved in: Planning and targeting door drop media and partially addressed mail; Providing reports and analysis of media performance alongside market insight; and Producing optimised schedules for bookings. As the Insight & Planning Analyst you will be responsible for: Developing a working knowledge of data sources and techniques to inform solutions that will achieve client targeting objectives Interpreting targeting briefs to provide the best solution to achieve client objectives Produce rankings profile and maps using GIS (Geographic Information System) software Develop and update predictive response models Assist our Sales and Client Services team in preparing renewal contracts, ensuring all information supplied is accurate and presented in a professional form Provide regular (daily, weekly, monthly) campaign performance reports for internal and external audiences Provide analysis and insight to add value and inform action on the basis of the campaign performance reports that are produced Produce presentations on campaign performance showing trends, analysis, learnings and actionable recommendations Provide presentations on overall market insights and support with new client pitches Prepare optimised schedules for media activity liaising with internal and external teams to process bookings efficiently Present media bookings with expected key metrics (including but not limited to cost per response and response rate) where required. Work quickly whilst still maintaining excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail when preparing documents and reports. Prioritise workloads and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines. Communicate complex information effectively both verbally and in writing when dealing with internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels. Ability to identify potential issues and challenges, developing well considered proposals for action and taking ownership to deliver as appropriate. Work collaboratively in a small team to deliver a high quality of service to clients and Whistl stakeholders. Self-motivated, with a willingness and drive to develop in order to deliver excellence. Desirable Skills In addition, we would anticipate that you will be; Educated to A 'level or equivalent (i.e. level 3 qualification). Proficient in the use of MS Office including intermediate MS PowerPoint and Excel skills for data analysis and graphical presentation e.g. pivot tables, graphs etc. Basic knowledge of Access, with knowledge/experience of VBA Programming and/or Alteryx would be desirable. Able to demonstrate a keen interest in media and communication with some experience in a marketing, advertising or media environment. Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Maths, Economic, Marketing, Communications and/or Media.
