Overview

We are recruiting for an Insight and Planning Analyst on behalf of a National Mail company to join a busy office in Marlow. The purpose of the role is to deliver cross functional support to the Planning & Insight Team across our client base. Main Responsibilities: Develop a working knowledge of data sources and techniques to solve client targeting objectives Interpretation of targeting briefs to provide best solution to achieve client objectives Production of rankings, profile and maps using GIS software Develop and update predictive response models Provide regular (daily, weekly, monthly) campaign performance reports Provide analysis and insight with the above as required Produce presentations on campaign performance showing trends, analysis, learnings and actionable recommendations Provide presentations on overall market insights & support with new client pitches Preparation of optimised schedules for media activity Liaise with Client Services and Royal Mail team to process bookings efficiently Present media bookings with expected CPR and RR where required Key Skills & Qualities Strong evaluation and analytical skills - able to analyse and interpret data and results logically, spot trends, make inferences, contrast and compare results, draw conclusions and make recommendations Attention to detail - able to work to a high degree of accuracy when preparing all documents and reports Time management & organisation - capable of managing multiple tasks effectively, managing projects and achieving deadlines Communication - good verbal and written communication skills along with ability to set realistic expectations on all work Proactive problem solving - propose solutions to problems and action them Strong business administration skills; maintaining records, updating client schedules and tools Team player, driven, enthusiastic and self motivated with a willingness to develop and desire to achieve excellence Essential IT Skills: Excel - to Intermediate Level PowerPoint - ability to produce professional looking presentations and charts Desired IT Skills: Access - basic knowledge with ability to develop Knowledge or Experience of VBA Programming Knowledge or Experience of Alteryx Word and Outlook literacy Qualifications and Experience: Essential Degree Educated at 2:1 (Hons) preferred, although not essential 3 A-Levels Keen interest in media and communications Desirable Work experience in Media / Advertising / Marketing fields Degree in related field (e.g. Business, Maths, Economics, Marketing or Media/Communications) We regret that due to the high volume of applications we are unable to reply to everyone.
