BUSINESS ANALYST - CHELTENHAM - 50K - FTE - PERMANENT - CWBACHELTS Sanderson's, the leading South West recruiter are proud and delighted to be working with a large FTSE 100 company in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will ideally be a hands on and 'ready to hit the ground running' passionate Business Analyst able to use a wide variety of technologies. The post will suit someone who has been a Business Analyst recently and has worked on customer focused projects. Being a self-starter and visionary would really be attractive to our client. Responsibilities: Leading customer needs analysis to shape an initial idea into a viable product through effective collaboration with the Product Owners and customers Providing agile business analysis across a range of digital projects Be aligned with the Product Owners, understand the vision and strategy for the product and communicate the needs, vision and priorities to the engineering team Define product backlogs, epics, MVP features, sprint backlogs, user stories, functional/non-functional requirements, workflows and acceptance criteria Build and maintain relationships with both product and engineering teams to facilitate communications and encourage collaboration Work with the product and engineering teams to assess requirements and ensure optimal software delivery pipeline is in operation Pro-actively prioritise user stories to ensure required functionality is delivered on time Manage changes to the scope and ensure correct level of business challenge to business requirements Experience required Demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst role with end to end project delivery, in an Agile environment Previous experience in delivering customer facing business systems solutions, ecommerce portals, IoT solutions and Mobile Apps using a range of modern technologies Experience in agile techniques such as product backlog, backlog refinement, sprint planning, scrum master, sprint estimation, user stories and acceptance criteria Previous experience supporting the creation of test scripts, scenario and cases including facilitating testing Experience in creating a proof of concept, wireframes or prototyping exercise to demonstrate or evaluate the feasibility and potential benefits of applying a technology, product or toolset to meet a customer need The position comes with many benefits including 27 days holiday, pension plan, healthcare and free parking to name a few.
