Overview

An established Biotechnology Company is looking for an experienced Associate Director, with a passion for Cell Therapy, to join their rapidly growing and incredibly exciting scientific team in London. The Company They are working on the latest generation of T-cell based therapeutics to combat a portfolio of hard to tackle and rare diseases. They are looking for someone who specialises in developing CAR T cells to lead programs within the company. Associate Director Role: This exciting opportunity is needing someone who is happy to lead and grow a team within the company’s CAR T programs and provide strategic knowledge and direction within the scientific team. . Reporting the Director of Cell Therapy, you have extensive gene editing experience in order to guide the team on different gene editing options. Other responsibilities include: Collaborate in the development of assays to evaluate the related gene modifications Coordinate efforts among internal groups and external academic collaborators Associate Director Requirements: Extensive experience in designing and developing cell-based immunotherapies with CAR T cells (oncology and/or autoimmune diseases) Strong knowledge of T cell biology and cellular signalling Hands-on experience in molecular and cell biology, including experience with T cell transduction and expansion Strong expertise in immunological assays, such as cell based assays for T cell signalling, cytotoxicity, cytokine secretion, proliferation, suppression and exhaustion In return, you will receive a salary of between £70,000 - £90,000, excellent benefits package and ongoing career development.
