Overview
Change Public Practice are delighted to be partnering with a top Scottish CA firm in the recruitment of an ambitious Part-Qualified Auditor to work within their Audit team in their Edinburgh office. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most prestigious Assurance teams in Scotland and will offer you the chance to become fully-qualified whilst working a range of commercial clients. Responsibilities within this role: · Involvement in the full Audit cycle for a number of clients across a range of sectors · Deliver high quality work during planning, completion and execution of each assignment · Support senior members of the team during audit engagements · Oversee and assist junior members of the audit team when required · Conduct substantive and controls testing for clients · Compile information and audit findings in reports for seniors To be considered for this role: · You must be Part-Qualified ICAS/ACCA · Previous experience of internal and/or external audit within a commercial, public sector or financial environment is required · Strong experience of Audit planning and fieldwork is key · Good working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and/or SORP is highly advantageous · Ability to deliver assignments on time and within budget · Along with a competitive salary package depending on experience, this firm also offers a range of staff benefits To discuss this role further, or other opportunities within Practice, please contact Johanne Smith.
