Title: Customer Support Engineer Location: Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire Salary: £25k - £35k Our client is a leading designer and supplier of audio broadcast mixing equipment, supplying the world's most successful broadcasters. Their reputation for build quality, reliability and audio performance has made it an industry benchmark across the world. They're a progressive, fast growing company who are looking to add to their expanding team, with a Customer Support Engineer. Benefits: Flexible working Gym membership 25 days holiday bank holidays Insurance cover Annual rail season ticket Cycle to work scheme What will you be doing?: Processing of service enquiries & calls Onsite service, including carrying out upgrades, fault correction and mixer upgrades On-air support Provide factory based support to other Customer Support Engineers in the field Use of factory facilities to diagnose and fault find faults reported by customers Raise quotations for customer support services, spares, expansion etc. Maintain accurate service tickets, customer service records and service database records Liaise and provide support to teams across the business Develop and review all aspects of the service function; the processes, the procedures and the database to meet team requirements, company goals and objectives. Who are we looking for?: Professional IT networking qualification (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) and/or Degree or Diploma in Broadcast Engineering/Electronics / Music Technology or a related subject Knowledge of networking: IP/TCP/UDP/RTP/RTSP LAN Configuration of Switches/Routers (VLAN, ACL etc.) Knowledge of AoIP technologies and standards; AES67, Dante, SMPTE-2110 etc. Experience of Broadcast Engineering or Customer Support in a Broadcast Environment System to component level knowledge of audio and audio control systems relating to broadcast applications A knowledge of Linux Due to Covid-19 interviews will be taking place online If this sounds like you, please apply today and one of the team will be in touch.
