In House: Employment Counsel for international media business
Overview
Our client, a leading global media company are recruiting an experienced employment lawyer for an initial 6 month contract. This contract is offered either full time or part time. The role will work in a global matrix and provide legal advice and counsel to HR, business leaders and internal lawyers within both within the UK and the US in relation to a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters in the UK, EMEA and APAC. The role will advise the business and, as appropriate, instruct outside counsel with respect to internal investigations, employment litigation and the employment-related aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of businesses. Candidates will have a proven record in working in a fast-paced, high volume environment and have the ability to demonstrate confidence and solid business judgement. UK employment law expertise is key and knowledge of the laws covering EMEA and APAC advantageous. Candidates will have a minimum of 6 years PQE practicing employment law either in house or private practice.
