Overview
Quality Engineer Up to £40,000 DOE Monday to Friday Aberdare A great opportunity has arisen at Focused Recruitment with a leading manufacturer in the medical field for a Quality Engineer to support the Head of Quality in managing the Quality Management System. Key Responsibilities • Review all incoming complaints for risk assessment and reputability within a structure timeframe. • Liaise with both internal and external customers to support conclusive results and timely closure. • Submit vigilance reports to the Regulatory Authorities and Notified Bodies as required within the statutory time scales. • Hold weekly meetings with various departments within the business. • Ensure full compliance to all regulatory requirements. • Assist in managing and investigating customer complaints and identifying root causes. • Putting preventative measures in place as required. • Carrying out internal audits on a periodical and reactive basis. • Support the improvement and awareness of Quality issues across all departments, through good working relationships with all senior Quality personnel in all locations and good understanding of required Industry Standards. Experience Required • Educated to degree level or equivalent in engineering/science or relevant field. • Minimum5 years' experience of ISO 19001. • Experience in a quality role within the manufacturing sector. • Competent with technical drawings and specifications. • Experience of the full range of Quality Tools. • Ability to train others.
