Overview
VBA, C#, Access, Excel, SQL, XML, Investment Banking My client are a major Investment Bank looking to hire an experienced VBA/C# Developer to work on multiple projects across Front and Middle Office. In the current climate, my client are still interviewing via phone/ video conference and are keen to press ahead with this hire. 6 month rolling contract, engaging via Ltd company of contractor. The developer will work alongside a global team that maintains a large application. This application uses technologies including C++, C#, Angular JS, Oracle SQL and Python. It is the objective to port the Access / Excel tools to the core platform incrementally using modern software design approaches such as DDD and TDD and the successful candidate will be asked to progress this. It is also likely that the successful candidate will be able to work on developments for the main system, developing skills in other technologies. Need to have: Strong VBA experience Strong C# development experience MS Access and MS Excel SQL Nice to have: Experience working within a major Financial Services client Fixed Income or Derivatives (OTC) experience Python XML Experience of migration projects TDD/ DDD McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
