Overview
Operations Manager – Belvedere Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Operations Manager to join an established Vehicle Rental and Contract Hire business. As Operations Manager you will be providing clear leadership and direction for the operations team, ensuring the appropriate development is provided to allow each employee to meet their full potential whilst promoting a culture of delighting customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maximising revenue potential by following all Company financial processes and policies. In this role you will report directly to the Managing Director with the aims maximise Rental revenue and delivering a managed and controlled cost base. This is an ideal job for someone who would like to have overall responsibility for the daily rental and maintenance operation whilst promoting and maintaining a high standard of health and safety, customer service and efficiency. Key responsibilities • Overall responsibility to deliver a efficient daily operations • Provide clear leadership and direction for staff ensuring the appropriate development is provided to allow each employee to meet their full potential. • Responsible for the depot’s costs and maximising revenue potential, and for following all Company Financial processes and policies. • Managing and controlling third party repairers and suppliers • Responsible for setting and maintaining the H&S standards of the site for all employees, customers and suppliers. • Be the customer’s senior contact point and ‘go-to’. Qualifications & Experience Essential Qualifications • Practical experience of managing a branch with commercial responsibility • Experience in working within commercial vehicle sector (rental ideally) • High standard of numeracy, literacy and verbal communication • IT literacy including: Fleet/database systems, CRM and Email systems and MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint • Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Qualifications • Management qualification - Diploma, NVQ Level 4 • Apprenticeship standard - maintenance • Class 1 Driving Licence • Certificate of Professional Competence (Transport Manager) • Degree or equivalent qualification Experience • Practical experience of managing a branch with commercial responsibility • Worked in a fast paced, service driven environment • Worked within a vehicle rental business would be advantageous At Clemence Rogers your right to privacy is important to us.
