Overview
Our client is an international organization offering high quality child care services. They currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Procurement Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting the day to day activity of the UK Procurement team in the delivery of their strategic roadmap. Responsibilities: Support the preparation and issue of tender documentation to suppliers Processing New Supplier and Product Requests in conjunction with the Procurement Team. Proactive and efficient management on a day to day basis of the Procure to Pay system Progressing and tracking daily enquiries on all procurement related matters from operations and support staff Manage the content of the Procurement Intranet page Source interim suppliers as required Liaise between Procurement and Accounts Payable to resolve any supplier issues with payment or query. Work closely with internal departments in ensuring authorised suppliers are used and are compliant to Policies and Procedures Regular communications and updates internally and externally on all procurement related activity. Support on Data analysis through tenders and sourcing exercises and monthly statistics required. Liaise with relevant functions to become an ambassador for the procurement function maintaining and raising the procurement profile across the business. Updating the Procurement Roadmap and the Savings Tracker. Experience Essential Educated to A level Procurement experience Efficient and accurate with attention to detail Resourceful and dynamic with the ability to be work on own initiative as well as part of a team Good Excel Skills with the ability to analyze data Able to work collaboratively to effectively deal with and resolve queries Excellent communication skills Desirable Experience of Finance and Administration Working towards CIPS Recruiting a similar role?
