Accounts Payable - Central London: £15 per hour Halliday Marx are working with our client, a large media Company are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to joining their growing team and organisation. Reporting into Accounts Payable Manager and located in their trendy Central London offices, your duties will include; Processing all invoices and credit notes according to company policy. Processing staff expenses, ensuring all requests meet the company’s guidelines and that the policy is communicated clearly to all employees. Building monthly payment runs for invoices and staff expenses and processing urgent payments as needed. Ensuring that good relationships and payment terms are kept with suppliers and all queries are dealt with in a timely manner. Regular communication with members of the executive team and other internal stakeholders to ensure all queries are dealt with efficiently Checking statements received from suppliers, identifying invoices that are overdue and/or not received and any payments that haven’t been allocated by the supplier. Processing and reconciling, petty cash requests and foreign currency advances to staff undertaking business travel. Responsibility for cash, receipts and reconciliation. Working closely with the management accounts team to ensure correct general ledger coding is used on all invoices and expenses Preparation of month end journals and reconciliations for general ledger accounts relating to accounts payable, including trade creditors, staff expenses and petty cash. Accounting correctly for VAT on all invoices, expenses and petty cash requests so that it can be recovered effectively. Preparation of monthly cost analyses for the Finance Director around the company’s internal entertainment and travel spend. Checking and logging of member bank detail changes into Sales force. Ad hoc duties as required. Key Candidate Requirements; Previous 12 -18 months working within a similar role and fast paced environment Strong Excel skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite Strong communication skills Good team player
