Overview

Global Accounting Network has partnered with a very exciting entertainment business who are looking for a finance assistant to help support their South-East London office. This person must be studying and have a strong desire to complete AAT or ACCA/CIMA. You will already have experience with AP, AR, Bank reconcilation, posting journals and other month end duities. You will responsible for… o Responsible for various aspects of the financial department including: o Performing bank postings and bank reconciliations on a daily basis o Preparing and Processing Journals for our Ticketing, Merchandise and Catering sales on a monthly basis o Assisting the Management Accountant in the preparation and delivery of the monthly FI to senior management team o Assisting the Financial Accountant in reconciliation of other Balance Sheet accounts o Helping provide insight and analysis of Monthly reporting to Budget holders o Providing general assistance to colleagues within the Finance Department as and when required o Ad hoc analysis as required by the account teams and line manager You MUST have… Relevant Accounting qualification AAT or started studying ACCA/CIMA Good skill level of using Microsoft excel and outlook We prefer… Experienced in using Mid-size accounting packages ideally SAGE 200 Trustworthy and discrete when dealing with confidential information An effective team player Able to learn new systems
