Overview
We are a property maintenance and refurbishment business based in East London. We are looking for full time Multi-skilled tradesmen / Handymen to work within our rapidly growing team. Our clients are a combination of businesses, property groups and private landlords in London. The Role You will be undertaking reactive & planned maintenance, moving from job to job throughout the day / week. You will be working primarily in residential properties across South West London and must be able to carry out the following types of work: Preparing / making good properties as and when they become vacant for re-lets. Painting & decorating. General carpentry. Basic plumbing & electrical duties. Fixing / replacing locks. Flooring and tiling. General handyman skills. The Applicant The successful applicant must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Multi-skilled tradesman / Handyman and must meet the following criteria: Be competent and skilled - any qualifications welcome. Have good organisational skills. Excellent time management. Customer focused and a friendly 'can-do’ attitude. Produce work to a high standard and a good eye for detail. Be able to think on their feet, problem solve and make decisions. Excellent spoken and written English. Good communication, customer service skills and able to act professionally at all times. Flexible on working extended hours as and when required. Be prepared to work job to job. Provide up-to-date and accurate feedback to the office. Own hand tools / power tools. Own vehicle and clean driving licence. Previous work references will be required. The role is for an immediate start.Training will be provided with regard to our systems and procedures. Salary: £100 - £150 a day (depending on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (overtime when required). Uniform included. The successful applicant will be on a 3 month probation period on a day rate basis, after which, if successful, will become a permanent employee and be offered a company van, along with 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
