IT Availability, Capacity and Continuity Manager • Contract • Current DV Clearance • MoD Defence Customer • 12 Month Signup • £550 - £650 per day (DOE) • IT Infrastructure & Software Service Expansion Project • Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire We are working with a major name in Defence Intelligence Systems who are expanding and upgrading their service offering. The ultimate focus for this position is to align the business strategy and plans with the technology and supporting solutions. We are looking for a candidate comfortable operating at a senior level, working closely with the Head of Service Design, Senior Customer stakeholders, and technical experts. You will be tasked with applying a holistic approach to ensure IT Infrastructure and Software service goals are achieved and maintains. Please note we are only able to consider candidates who hold current DV Clearance. Your main duties could include The production and maintenance of an up to date Availability, Capacity and Continuity (ACC) Plan, that reflects the current and future needs of the business. Providing guidance and advice on availability related issues. Producing ACC Metric reports for the Service management reviews. Assisting with the diagnosis, resolution and review of availability related incidents and problems. Assessing the impacts of changes on the ACC plan. The monitoring of the IT Availability level achieved. Helping to create solutions that balance business requirements with information, user and security requirements. Ensuring that the system design balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements. Current DV Clearance Required Skills and experience Proven experience in a similar role Experience with Service Design and Architecture Experience with Service Implementation The ability to view the “big picture” and overall service offering A broad it background Experience within MoD or Government customer environments Desirable skills and experiences MoD Implementation requirements Experience implementing security aspects and solutions Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4. Knowledge and experience with GIS, Image Processing and Mapping production software. This role is urgent, with interviews and offers being carried out remotely.
