Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to ensure efficient, accurate and timely running of the accounts department, with duties including sales and purchase ledger, purchase orders, products and services, nominal ledger, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, journal entries and departmental analysis, bank reconciliations and statements, VAT returns and submission, as well as CIS returns /sub-contractor payments. You will also undertake end of year preparation to audit, raise new sales orders in Sage and undertake some stock reconciliations. You will also undertake weekly and monthly payroll, and supervise an Accounts Assistant. The company are looking for someone to work circa 25-30 hours a week, spread over 5 days. Experience running an accounts department is needed, and ideally you will have experience working on Sage accounts.
