Overview

This is an exciting time to join Wrexham Council Social Care, we have restructured, creating key roles to join a well-established, senior management structure. We are seeking three experienced and enthusiastic Heads of Service with drive and commitment. This a critical role in ensuring Wrexham Council delivers high quality services; achieving positive, measurable outcomes for the people we support. The Head of Service - Provider Services will undertake the role of the Responsible Individual, leading on the development and growth of our in-house registered services in line with Welsh Government direction to increase the council’s market share of social care services. If you are appointed, you will lead services, oversee resources and be responsible for the quality of care and support provided to individuals receiving social care services and support across the county. You will be accountable for creating a culture where the impact of the service can be measured by the well-being of the people using it.
