Overview

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Compton (Winchester) area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you. We have a variety of day shifts and wake nights running throughout the week, Monday to Sunday. The days shifts are either 8am to 11am or 8am to 10pm, and the wake nights go from 7pm to 8am. The rate of pay ranges from £9.37 to £12.18 per hour. We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check and 25 days of paid annual holiday. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. About the Client You will be working as part of the team that supports a lady who lives with her family in the area of Compton (Winchester). You will be helping her with all aspects of personal care, moving and handling. She also has clinical needs that you will assist with (full training will be provided). The team and the family are working hard to ensure her continued safety in the community. You will be encouraged to take part in the hobbies that our client still enjoys. She was an accomplished music teacher before the stroke and music is one of the things she still truly enjoys. The right candidate must be passionate and resilient to make a difference in this lady’s life, to ensure her rehabilitation is continued, and help her reconnect with the community and her interests.
