Overview

THE COMPANY: Energy Analyst in Halifax required for a leading, successful, international owner managed business. Work in a dynamic, fast paced and rewarding environment that is rapidly growing organically and through acquisitions. The organisation is close to motorway links and easily accessible by car from Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield and all areas of Halifax. The role requires someone to have worked in a similar Energy Analyst Position THE JOB: The role that will enable you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team covering the technical and legal aspects of this business, including compliance with environmental, animal health, energy and waste legislation. Duties include Maintaining the Management Systems to audited standards, HSEQ and ISO 50001. Monitoring and reporting as set out in the company management systems. Carrying out internal auditing to the relevant ISO standard as required. Compiling variation applications to keep permits up to date (e.g. EU-ETS & Environmental Permits) Managing the delivery of energy training to all levels of Site Personnel. Maintaining and improving on the energy culture within the business. Supporting the implementation of energy efficiency projects, with input into cost-benefit analysis Preparing information for management review meetings and reports. Collating information/data for reporting within the CCA, EU-ETS, ESOS, SECR and RHI schemes Advising site management on the progress towards targets for the above schemes. THE PERSON: Science or engineering based qualifications (Degree or equivalent) Experience of working in a regulated / permitted industry Experience of auditing production processes against set standards Experience of developing/maintaining management systems for standards such as ISO14001, ISO 50001. Proficient Excel, Word and Power Point skills Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of static and wireless metering technology, i.e. Modbus and TCP Protocol. Knowledge of combustion and motorised technology.
