Overview
A global communications group with offices in over 80 countries is looking to expand its healthcare operations in the UK by appointing several new account handlers for its Covent Garden office which houses the biggest healthcare communications team outside of North America. This is a company that thrives on creating the most innovative medical education and PR programmes around and they employ the cutting edge of technology to help their clients to achieve the highest market penetration. The company is currently looking for an Associate Director to work on a mix of existing and new accounts, leading members of the team and working with the Public Affairs practice management team on a mixture of current comms programmes and new business initiatives. This crucial role will support the agency’s award winning campaigns in the areas of HIV, gastroenterology, rheumatoid arthritis, oncology and cardiovascular treatments. You will have ideally, at least 6-years agency experience in ethical, pharmaceutical, product PR or diagnostics; strong writing and presentation skills is a must and an agency background at Account Director will be expected - but don’t let ambition hold you back Candidates should be comfortable with initiating and leading new business opportunities.
