Overview
Senior Business Analyst - Change We are currently looking for a professional, motivated and heavy hitting Head of Business Analysis on a permanent basis for one of the Top 50 companies to work for in the UK, based in the West Midlands. Our client are currently undergoing a complex and large-scale Transformation Programme and subsequently are looking to significantly uplift their capability. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for the successful Head of Business Analysis and will be working alongside the Head of Change Practice Management. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a Practice of professionals within the organisation’s change function in support of the change portfolio. Develop and implement the systems, processes and ways of working to develop and sustain a high performing team and delivery capability. Support the creation of and drive a community of practice with a focus on professional development and continuous improvement for the Practice to be the best they can be and be recognised as change delivery leads across the business. Engage with business, IT and Business Change stakeholders to source the right quality people. Understand and react to changing business needs and developments in transformation and methodology. Own, drive and deliver the right change delivery capabilities and skill sets. Implement plans that retain and attract the best people. Set and drive practice initiatives to support community and wellbeing and colleague engagement agenda. Key Requirements: You miust have a proven track record of leading a high volume practice of professionals within a change function (10 direct reports and 40 indirect reports) Supporting delivery of the Change Portfolio at circa £80 million per year. Demonstrable business analysis experience in highly complex programmes with a focus on solutioning, requirements elicitation and definition using both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies. IIBA qualification or similar business analysis focused qualification. Create a sense of common purpose and a shared understanding; communicate a clear vision and influence others to get involved in making it a reality. Lead team and colleagues to encourage them to solve problems. Act as a sounding board providing structure, challenge, direction and advice as required. Build a culture where high performance and ownership is encouraged and celebrated; openly discuss lessons learned from failures without apportioning blame. Drive and monitor realistic plans for achievement of long-term vision focussing on delivering incremental delivery capability. Work successfully and maintain delivery in ambiguous situations. Identify, coach, mentor and develop talented individuals to fulfil their potential. Please note that whilst relevant qualifications valued; this role will require demonstrable previous experience.
